Performance needs fixing
The game depends on upscaling and frame generation to reach the advertised frame rate. Unfortunately, the visuals then quickly turn into a soup of grainy pixels, which makes the fidelity suffer badly, especially on large retina displays. My guess is that Metal might be only rudimentarily implemented, because other new games don’t seem to have this issue. I wouldn’t recommend buying the game for any Mac that isn’t top of the line and even then, maybe wait for a performance patch.
